Hello Friends, hope you guys are well on this day. I am so happy to share our exciting news with you.
If you’ve been following my fertility story for a while, you’ll know that my husband & I have been trying to conceive our baby for years now. I shared my story over on my YouTube channel, in fact, that was one of my first videos I posted over on YouTube & my fertility journey was one of the things that inspired me to create this my channel & this blog, because, I wanted to share how to live a life of calm and happiness, despite the unimaginable challenge we were going through.

My hubby & I have gone through all the emotions possible waiting for our precious little one, and finally, I am so happy to say that “WE HAVE OUR PRECIOUS BABY”. We are so overjoyed; words can’t even describe how we’ve been feeling since we found out we were pregnant, the months of our pregnancy and now, that we have our precious gift in our hands.

We found out we were pregnant one week after we celebrated our 6th year wedding anniversary. This baby is indeed an anniversary gift from God. Since we found out we were pregnant, one song has been in our hearts and that song is pastor Nathaniel Bassey’s “SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE”.
That song is a true expression of our testimony, and I knew that was the song I had to play and dance to when we were ready to announce that we were pregnant.

How we found out
“I had been so busy in my cake business that I didn’t even realize that I had been feeling the abdominal pain for days and my period didn’t come. At that point, I didn’t know what to think, I didn’t want to make myself happy so I don’t get disappointed at the end of the day. I decided not to tell my husband anything and wait till the weekend. If by then my period hadn’t come, I would tell him and we would do a home pregnancy test”.

My motherhood journey so far
I am still in awe of the fact that I am now a mum. Everyday has been a blessing since we brought our precious gift home from the hospital. Even the sleepless nights & the days I cry my eyes out all seem worth it when I hold him in my arms.
I am so happy to begin this new phase in my life, and I look forward to sharing all the precious moments with you. Thank you for all the prayers, lovely messages and for being part of our amazing story/testimony. All praise be to God Almighty for His everlasting faithfulness.
