How to make an ice-cold turmeric latte
The star of this latte is the turmeric latte mix from Zing foods. This mix has everything you need in it to make this ice-cold turmeric latte. Along with the turmeric powder, it contains black pepper which activates the curcumin power present in turmeric, ginger and cinnamon.
All you do is to add the mix into a pot with some maca powder, sweetener and water. Heat up the mixture while stirring till its combined and leave to cool down. Add coconut milk or any other plant milk into a glass filled with ice, add the turmeric mix, top with some optional dairy-free whipped cream and sprinkle some black pepper and cinnamon on top. And it’s ready to drink.
Can I meal prep this drink? Of course, you can. After the turmeric mix cools down, transfer into an airtight storage container and store in the fridge. Whenever you want a glass of ice-cold turmeric latte, proceed with the next steps.
Can I take it warm instead? Yes you can. Instead of water, add your milk of choice into the pot. Heat up the golden milk and mix continuously. Add into a mug and top with black pepper and cinnamon powder. And its ready.
Can I skip the maca powder? Yes, you can. I love Maca powder because it’s great for balancing hormones amongst other amazing benefits, so I try to add it into some of my drinks. However, if you don’t have it or don’t want to add it, you can skip it.
Can I make this keto? Yes, you can make this keto by using your preferred keto milk and sweetener. Each serving is 1g net carbs.
