Items for creating the prettiest gift box
The items you need for creating a lovely gift box are totally customizable and are dependent entirely on you. The type of items you use will also depend on the occasion for the gift. A Christmas gift box will likely include some baked goods, while a self-care box will include tea or a scented candle. I like to create gift boxes with items I would love to receive as a gift. If it’s good enough for me, then it’s good enough to be given away. The items listed below are just ideas to guide you. Feel free to add to them or take them away. The idea is to keep it budget-friendly without it looking cheap.
- A box: An old shoebox or a wooden crate will work well for the carrier box. Chances are you have these items lying around in your home. Simply wrap an old shoebox in a pretty wrapping paper and it will be good as new.
- Something homemade: Homemade gifts are personal, unique, and thoughtful. It shows that a lot of effort went into making them. Add some homemade hot chocolate mix or some chai latte mix like the one I made in my video for something extra special.
